Chai Daily is built on trust, so we want to be plain about how giving works. This page reflects the founder's intended policy for every gift made through Chai Daily.
Gifts are made to Shefa House
Every gift made through Chai Daily is a gift to Shefa House, the foundation behind the platform. Once a gift is accepted, it is used for charitable purposes at the foundation's direction.
Dedications guide the giving
You might dedicate your giving in your own name, in memory of a loved one, for healing, or in someone's honor. That dedication and your preferences guide how Shefa House directs the giving. A dedication is an act of generosity, not an account: it does not create ownership of funds or any right to withdraw them.
Where the giving goes
Gifts support daily tzedakah carried out through trusted partner organizations: the ones named on our homepage, chosen and personally vouched for by the founder. Impact is shared on Living Profiles with care, and always with dignity for those who receive.
Operating and technology costs
Running Chai Daily takes real work: technology, operations, and care. Shefa House discloses any operating and technology costs, so you always know how the platform is sustained. The platform's technology and operations are provided by Havanah Ventures LLC.
