Chai Daily is a personal project built on trust, and your privacy is part of that trust. Here is what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.
What we collect
Only the basics you choose to share with us:
- Your name and email address, when you reserve a Living Profile or write to us.
- Anything you include in your message, such as the name of a loved one you'd like to honor.
How we use it
We use this information only to respond to you and to operate Chai Daily: setting up and caring for Living Profiles, answering questions, and keeping in touch about your giving. Nothing more.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We don't trade it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. Your details stay with Shefa House and the team that runs Chai Daily (Havanah Ventures LLC, our technology and operations provider), and are used only for the purposes above.
Dignity in what we share
The impact shown on Living Profiles, like meals shared and families helped, is presented with care. We protect the dignity and privacy of those who receive tzedakah: recipients are never exposed or identified without their consent.

As Chai Daily grows, this policy may be updated. If we change it, we will keep it just as honest, and just as readable.
